HostBooks Customer Satisfaction Policy

At HostBooks,  we strive to provide quality software (hereinafter termed Software or products) as envisaging speedy, reliable and affordable solutions helping in your business and professional life. We also aim at providing you with customized and affordable pre, post-sales, ancillary services, and consultancies (hereinafter termed as Services). We really appreciate and thank you for choosing us.

This policy explains the different cases pertaining to refund. It also explains set of a defined course of action in cases, where we fail to meet your expectations, or if your expectations are beyond/out of our scope.

Refund Policy for Software

Annual Subscriptions

If you are dissatisfied at any time, during your first month of using our software, please let us know your concern. We will do our best to address your concern, provide a solution, workaround or give a timeline for a solution that will meet your needs.  If you are still not satisfied, we will gladly offer you a FULL REFUND for your purchase, and downgrade your account to the free plan for that service with limited or no access.

Return in case of termination/discontinuing/break/alteration of any functionality  

We want you to be happy with our services throughout your entire contract period or license period, and not only for the first 30 days. If at any time during your contract period we remove, break or discontinue any functionality that was available or was being used by you at the time you signed up for your contract, please notify us immediately. If we fail to address it in a timely manner, or if we are unable to meet your expectations, we will offer you a PRO-RATED REFUND for the remaining period of your contract.

Return in case of customization of any product

We are a web-based software product company and our products are standard in nature. However, in some cases, we may have to undertake customization development of some features based on your requirements. We may have to charge an additional fee for the customization over and above the standard price. Upon your acceptance, customization of our deliverables is completed. In such a case, we will not be able to process any refund whatever the case may be of termination of the contract.

Auto-Renewal

For your convenience, your subscriptions will auto-renew until you cancel the product. Every time before your subscription auto-renews, we will send an email specifying the amount that will be charged to you with the payment mode you opted for. Products will only be renewed upon receipt of the payment. Similarly, after each renewal, we will send you a receipt via e-mail specifying the amount that has been collected together with the next renewal date and the next renewal amount.

In some cases, customers forget to cancel a service/product they no longer want to continue until it has already been charged. In such cases, you can contact us for the cancellation of contract up to 30 days of the renewal of the product and we will still process your cancellation and give you a FULL REFUND.

We offer services which are standard in nature, however, in some cases, we may have to undertake customization in the service element based on your requirements. Hence, we have to incur a cost for the in-house development of the skill set required for such customized service and development of some features specific to your needs. We may have to charge an additional fee for the customization over and above the standard price. In such a case, we will not be able to process any refund whatever the case may be of termination of the contract.

The Exception to our Refund Policy

Please note that we will not entertain a request for refund (FULL or PRO-RATED) when we have suspended or terminated your access to HostBooks Services/Products due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
